Potato Biscuits
Ingredients:
potatoes, raw, skin
butter, without salt
leavening agents, baking soda
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
honey
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
sugars, brown
Directions:
Stir butter into potatoes.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk, add honey.
Mix baking powder, sugar, flour, adding in milk as you go.
Press into 3/4 inch pad, cut biscuits.
Bake at 400F (200C) until done.
Serve warm biscuits with butter or jam if desired.
