Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients:
strawberries, raw
water, bottled, generic
syrups, corn, light
sugars, granulated
salt, table
lemon juice, raw

Directions:
In 3-quart saucepan, stir strawberries, water, light corn syrup, sugar, and salt.
Heat to boiling on high, stirring.
Reduce heat to simmer 2 minutes or until strawberries are soft.
Puree in blender until smooth.
With spatula, push puree through fine-mesh strainer set over medium bowl.
Stir in fresh lemon juice.
Serve with pancakes, waffles, or pound cake.
