Apple Crumble
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
apples, raw, with skin
sugars, brown
Directions:
In a large bowl, mix butter (cut into small pieces) with sugar and flour.
You must mix it with your fingertip so youll have small little balls of dough.
Cut the apple into julienne strips and mix with the brown sugar.
In a 9 inch pie pan, distribute the apples and put the dough on top evenly.
Cook at 350 F for 40 to 45 minutes or until the dough is slightly brown.
Serve a little warm with ice cream of your choice.
You can add raisin to the apples, and cinnamon.
You can serve it with whipped cream or creme anglaise.
You can also make it with another fruit: peach, pear, apricot, mirabelle, etc.
