Woodpigeon casserole

Ingredients:
2 pig’s trotters
25g/1oz butter
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
4 woodpigeon
12 pickling onions
1 carrot, diced
1 celery adhere, diced
100g/4oz streaky again bacon, minimize into strips
1 cinnamon adhere
1 bay leaf
2 sprigs of new thyme
11⁄2 tablespoons simple flour
16 prunes, pitted
2 sprigs of new flat-leaf parsley
300ml/10fl oz crimson wine
salt and recently flooring black pepper

Directions:
First, put the trotters inside a pan and go over with water. Carry to the boil, deal with and simmer for 1 hour, skimming off any scum that rises to the look. E-book the liquid and trotters.
Then, soften the butter and oil in just a flameproof casserole dish. Suddenly brown the pigeons, then remove and e book.
