Calves’ kidney stew
Ingredients:

350g/12oz calves’ kidney, peeled and diced
undeniable flour, expert with salt and recently flooring black pepper, for coating
50g/2oz butter
100g/4oz onions, chopped
175g/6oz carrots, chopped
1 turnip, ï¬nely chopped
3 celery sticks, ï¬nely chopped
1.7 litres/3pt beef stock salt and recently flooring
black pepper
Directions:
First, put the kidney within just a bowl and include with chilly water and a constructive pinch of salt. Depart to soak though you plan the veggies, then drain and dry with kitchen area paper and throw inside of the expert flour.
Then, soften the butter within just a saucepan, include the kidney and veggies, and throw for 1â€"2 minutes within the butter. Time with salt and pepper, and increase the stock. Carry to the boil, prevent the warm and simmer for 45â€"60 minutes until eventually comfortable.
Finally, put the stew inside of a blender or foods processor, and combination for 2 minutes, then reheat and provide sizzling.
