Grape and Walnut Salad
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
nuts, walnuts, english
salt, table
cheese, parmesan, hard
yogurt, greek, plain, nonfat
sugars, brown
grapes, red or green (european type, such as thompson seedless), raw
Directions:
In a pan, heat the butter over medium to medium high heat.
Add the walnuts and salt; mix.
Toast for 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally.
Be careful not to burn.
Usually, when you can smell the nuts, they are done.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Combine cream cheese and yogurt.
Stir in brown sugar, then cooled walnuts.
Add mixture to grapes (make sure grapes are dry).
*Note: I use the 1/3 less fat cream cheese and light yogurt.
It turns out great every time, but youre the cook in your kitchen so use what you like.
Enjoy!
