Gingery Oatmeal Molasses Bread

Ingredients:
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
water, bottled, generic
molasses
butter, without salt
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
oats
sugars, brown
salt, table
spices, ginger, ground
leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry

Directions:
In medium saucepan, heat first 4 ingredients until very warm, not boiling.
Spoon flour into measuring cup, level off.
In large bowl, combine warm liquid, 2 cups all-purpose flour, wheat flour, and remaining ingredients.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Stir in remaining all-purpose flour.
On well-floured surface, knead dough until smooth and elastic.
Place in greased bowl.
Cover and let rise until doubled in size (45 to 60 minutes).
Grease two 9 x 5 loaf pans.
Punch down dough and divide into two loaves.
Place in greased pans.
Cover and let rise until doubled (45-60 minutes).
Heat oven to 350F
Bake 35-45 minutes or until deep golden brown and loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
Immediately remove from pans.
Brush with butter, if desired.
