Jean's Ice Cream Sandwiches
Ingredients:
shortening confectionery, coconut (hydrogenated) and or palm kernel (hydrogenated)
sugars, brown
cereals, oats, regular and quick, unenriched, cooked with water (includes boiling and microwaving), without salt
nuts, pecans
butter, without salt
ice creams, vanilla
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except ice cream.
Put one half of the cereal mixture in the bottom of a 9' x 9' pan.
Spread soft ice cream over cereal mixture in pan.
Top with remaining cereal mixture.
Freeze.
