Parmesan and Herb Polenta
Ingredients:
water, bottled, generic
salt, table
cornmeal, degermed, unenriched, yellow
cheese, parmesan, hard
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
butter, without salt
parsley, fresh
spices, rosemary, dried
spices, thyme, dried
spices, pepper, black
Directions:
Bring water to a boil.
Add the salt.
Gradually whisk in cornmeal, then reduce to low heat and cook until thick and tender (about 15 minutes).
Remove from heat and stir in the parmesan, milk, butter, herbs, and pepper.
