Saffron rice salad

Ingredients:
1 teaspoon saffron threads
6 green cardamom pods
6 cloves
1 cinnamon adhere
450g/1lb basmati rice
2 tablespoons olive oil squeeze of lemon juice
50g/2oz flaked almonds, toasted salt and recently floor
black pepper

Directions:
First, put the saffron within just a tiny bowl with 3 tablespoons boiling water, and go away to infuse whilst the rice is cooking.
Then, pour 1 litre/13⁄4pt chilly water into a pan, year with salt and provide to the boil. Include the spices and rice. Return to the boil, stir with a fork, get rid of the warmth, include and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir the rice once more, then pour within just the saffron liquid with no stirring.
