Cajun Honey Cake
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
honey
lemon juice, raw
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
nuts, walnuts, english
figs, dried, uncooked
Directions:
Melt butter w honey.
Add eggs and lemon juice.
mix well and SLOWLY.
Add flour, salt and baking powder mix.
Add chopped nuts and fruit (batter WILL be stiff).
Pour in to greased floured baking pans.
Bake at 350F for 30 minutes are till cake tests done.
