Chocolate Broiler Cake Frosting
Ingredients:
butter, without salt
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
sugars, brown
shortening confectionery, coconut (hydrogenated) and or palm kernel (hydrogenated)
Directions:
Combine the butter, brown sugar, and milk in a saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and stir in the nuts/coconut.
Spread evenly over the top of the warm cake (still in pan).
Place cake low under a slow broiler.
Broil until lightly toasted.
Watch carefully.
Cool completely in pan.
