Teriyaki Sesame Shrimp

Ingredients:
sauce, teriyaki, ready-to-serve
honey
spices, ginger, ground
spices, pepper, black
seeds, sesame seeds, whole, dried
crustaceans, shrimp, raw (not previously frozen)

Directions:
Preheat a grill or griddle pan over medium heat and coat with cooking spray.
In a bowl, add teriyaki sauce, ginger, honey, and black pepper.
Whisk well and set aside.
In a small frying pan over low heat, lightly toast sesame seeds.
Transfer to a plate.
On a clean work surface, lay fresh shrimp on its side.
Using a sharp knife, butterfly carefully by cutting through the center, halfway through, starting at the larger end 3/4 the way down near end.
Open up the shrimp.
Place butterflied shrimp in the teriyaki marinade for a few minutes.
Coat each shrimp in sesame seeds and place on grill/griddle pan.
Cook on medium high 4 minutes each side.
Serve over rice.
These are a favorite!
