British Toffee Sauce
Ingredients:
cream, fluid, heavy whipping
sugars, granulated
syrup, maple, canadian
butter, without salt
spices, ginger, ground
vanilla extract
Directions:
Put the cream, sugar and syrup in a saucepan and mix well over a low heat.
Stir in half the butter.
Bring to the boil and continue boiling until a soft toffee consistency is reached.
Stir in the ginger, vanilla essence and the remainder of the butter.
Serve hot.
