Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients:
mushrooms, white, raw
sugars, brown
salt, table
butter, without salt
oil, olive, salad or cooking

Directions:
Rinse mushrooms and drain them.
Slice or quarter the mushrooms, place them in a bowl, and season with sugar and salt.
Heat butter and oil over medium heat in a skillet, add mushrooms and cover the skillet.
Cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
These go great with red meat, white meat, pototoes, or pasta.
Use them as a filling for pierogis.
