Peanut Butter Puppy Poppers
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
peanut butter, smooth style, without salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 F. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
In another bowl, combine milk and peanut butter.
Add the peanut butter mixture to the dry ingredients.
Place dough on a lightly floured surface and knead.
Roll dough to 1/4 inch thickness and use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes.
The original recipe I have says to bake for 20 minutes.
However, I have never baked them for longer than 10-15 minutes.
Cool on a rack and store in an airtight container.
These are perfect to bake around Christmas time to give to your neighborhood four-legged friends!
