Bakewell Cream Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
cream, whipped, cream topping, pressurized
salt, table
leavening agents, baking soda
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
salad dressing, mayonnaise, regular
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Mix and sift dry ingredients together.
Add in lowfat milk and mayonaise ; mix.
Turn onto a floured board; knead 5 or possibly 6 times.
Cut with biscuit cutter.
Bake 10 min, then lower the heat to 325 degrees till biscuits are golden brown.
HINT: You can turn off the oven after 10 min; the biscuits will brown.
