Apple Cinnamon Raisin Bread Recipe
Ingredients:
water, bottled, generic
shortening, vegetable, household, composite
molasses
salt, table
spices, cinnamon, ground
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
oats
wheat flours, bread, unenriched
leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry
apples, raw, with skin
raisins, seeded
Directions:
Bake according to manufacturer's instructions, adding the cashews during the raisin bread cycle, or possibly five min before the final kneading is finished.
Makes 12 thick slices.
NOTES: A very nice loaf with a wonderful, moist texture.

NOTE: Use 3 tbsp of unsweetened applesauce instead of the oil.
