White Fudge

Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
cream, sour, cultured
syrups, corn, light
butter, without salt
salt, table
vanilla extract
cherries, sweet, raw
nuts, almonds

Directions:
In saucepan,combine sugar,sour cream,corn syrup,butter and salt.
Bring slowly to boil,stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Then, without stirring, boil over medium heat to soft stage or 236 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Remove from heat.
Let stand for 15 minutes or longer.
Add vanilla.
Stir mixture till it begins to lose its gloss.
Add cherries and nuts.
Put into buttered shallow pan.
Cool completely.Cut into pieces.
