Butter Scotch Recipe
Ingredients:
sugars, brown
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
vinegar, distilled
water, bottled, generic
salt, table
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except flavoring.
Cover till mix begins to boil.
Boil without stirring to soft crack stage (275 - 280 F).
Add in flavoring.
Don't stir.
Pour quickly into well-buttered pan.
The candy should be in a thin sheet.
Cold slightly and mark in squares.
