White Chocolate Cinnamon Biscuits

Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
spices, cinnamon, ground
leavening agents, baking soda
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
butter, without salt
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
sugars, powdered
cream, fluid, heavy whipping

Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda.
Whisk to combine.
Pour in the buttermilk and melted butter, stirring to ensure that there are no lumps.
Gently fold in white chocolate chips.
Drop dough by spoonfuls onto prepared baking pan.
Bake for 1012 minutes, or until biscuits are slightly golden brown and firm.
Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes on pan, then move to a wire rack to cool completely.
To make the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream in a large bowl.
Drizzle over cooled biscuits.
