Buttermilk Bread In Abm Recipe
Ingredients:
leavening agents, yeast, baker's, active dry
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
salt, table
wheat flours, bread, unenriched
butter, without salt
syrup, maple, canadian
water, bottled, generic
Directions:
Layer ingredients in your ABM, wet first, then dry, ending with yeast.
Use light or possibly medium setting.
NOTES : I did this recipe 2 ways, the way it is entered and then a second time using 1 c. real buttermilk for the powdered buttermilk and water.
I really prefer the real buttermilk - there is a definite taste difference for the better.
This rises really high!
Might try cutting the yeast back just a bit...
