Salade De Lentilles Trois Couleurs (Three Colored Lentil Salad)

Ingredients:
lentils, raw
tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average
couscous, dry
onions, spring or scallions (includes tops and bulb), raw
oil, olive, salad or cooking
vinegar, red wine
spices, parsley, dried
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
sauce, ready-to-serve, pepper, tabasco

Directions:
Cook the lentils in about 6 cups of water at a simmer for about 20 minutes or until tender, but not mushy.
Meanwhile, prepare couscous according to package directions.
Whisk remaining ingredients together in the bottom of a large bowl.
Drain the lentils and add to the dressing in the bowl.
Fluff the couscous, and add it as well.
Stir all together gently until well combined.
