Mona's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yield: 4 dozen
Ingredients:
- 2 cups moreover 4 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened until just about melted
- 12 ounces (2 cups) semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups coarsely chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
1. First, preheat the oven to 375°F.
2. Next, sift the flour with the baking soda and salt. Increase the sugars, eggs, vanilla, and butter or margarine, and beat with a wooden spoon until the combination is tender and properly put together. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
3. Finally, reduce through teaspoonfuls on to ungreased baking sheets, spacing cookies more than 2 inches aside.
