Mexican Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
cocoa, dry powder, unsweetened
sugars, brown
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
spices, cinnamon, ground
Directions:
Creating the Jar:
Wash and thoroughly dry a 1-pint wide-mouth canning jar.
In a medium-sized bowl, combine all of the ingredients listed in the jar shown at left.
Premixing is required for this recipe.
Transfer the mixture to the canning jar.
Secure the lid, and decorate as desired (see Notes).
Attach the following instructions for making the hot chocolate:
MEXICAN HOT CHOCOLATE
Pint-Jar Yield: About 20 servings
Place 3 heaping teaspoons of the Jar mix in a cup or mug.
Add 6 ounces boiling water, stir well, and enjoy.
