Blueberry Pie Filling (Frozen Fruit)
Yield: around 7 lb 8 oz (3375 g) 4 8-inch (20-cm) pies 3 9-inch (23-cm) pies
Ingredients:
- 5 lb (2250 g) Frozen unsweetened blueberries as demanded as essential Water
- 6 oz (175 g) Sugar
- 6 fl oz (190 mL) Water, cold
- 3 oz (90 g) Cornstarch or improved strach
- 14 oz (412 g) Sugar
- 1�"4 oz (11�"4 tsp) (8 g (7 mL)) Salt
- 1�"8 oz (21�"8 tsp) (4 g (10 mL)) Cinnamon
- 1.5 fl oz (45 mL) Lemon juice
Directions:
1. First, thaw blueberries in initial container with no opening.
2. Next, drain the berries.
3. Then, merge the cold water and cornstarch.
4. Then, provide the juice blend to a boil. Stir in the starch. Return to a boil to thicken.
5. Then, stir in the sugar, salt, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Stir over heat until finally the sugar is dissolved.
6. Then, pour the syrup about the worn out blueberries. Merge carefully. Interesting thoroughly.
7. Finally, fill pie shells.
