Molasses Popcorn Balls Recipe
Ingredients:
molasses
salt, table
corn, sweet, white, raw
vinegar, distilled
water, bottled, generic
sugars, granulated
butter, without salt
Directions:
Combine molasses, sugar, water, vinegar, and salt; cook slowly without stirring to 270 degrees (or possibly when small quantity dropped into cool water separates into heavy threads).
Remove from heat; add in butter, stirring only sufficient to mix.
Pour over popped corn, stirring constantly.
Shape lightly and quickly into balls.
