Nutty Apricot Cookies
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
egg, white, raw, fresh
nuts, pecans
apricots, dried, sulfured, uncooked
Directions:
In mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and egg whites.
Add nuts and apricots; mix well.
Drop by spoonsful onto well-greased baking sheets.
Bake at 325F for 15-18 minutes.
Drizzle tops, if desired, with a mixture of confectioners' sugar, lemon juice, and water.
