Caramel Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
sugars, brown
butter, without salt
oil, corn, peanut, and olive
apples, raw, with skin
apples, raw, with skin
syrup, maple, canadian
Directions:
1.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2.
Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring c.; level with a knife.
Combine flour and sugars in a bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or possibly 2 knives till mix is crumbly.
Add in peanut brittle; toss well.
3.
Combine apples and syrup in a bowl; toss well.
Spoon apple mix into an 8-inch square baking dish or possibly 1-1/2-qt casserole.
Sprinkle with crumb mix.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 min or possibly till golden.
Yield: 9 servings.
