American French or Tomato French Dressing
Yield: 2 qt (2 L)
Ingredients:
- 4 oz (125 g) Onion
- 1 qt (1 L) Salad oil
- 12 oz (375 mL) Cider vinegar
- 21�"2 cups (625 mL) Ketchup
- 4 oz (125 g) Sugar
- 1 tsp (5 mL) Mashed garlic
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 mL) Paprika
- 1�"4 tsp (1 mL) Warm pepper sauce (these as Tabasco)
- 1�"2 tsp (2 mL) White pepper
Directions:
1. First, grate the onion on a hand grater or grind in foods chopper.
2. Next, mix all components in a stainless-metal bowl.
3. Then, mix with a cord whip until finally properly blended and sugar is dissettled. Chill.
4. Finally, overcome or stir again right before serving.
