Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
oats
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
seeds, chia seeds, dried
water, bottled, generic
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
sugars, granulated
vanilla extract
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
oil, olive, salad or cooking
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375.
Create chia eggs by combining water and ground chia seeds.
Stir and let sit for 10-15 minutes to create a gel.
Combine dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
Combine wet ingredients and stir well to combine.
Gradually add wet ingredients to dry and mix in chocolate chips.
Form into 1 T balls and bake on a greased cookie sheet for 10-12 minutes.
Otherwise freeze for later cooking or eating frozen!
