Rice Pilaf

Yield: around 3 lb (1.4 kg) Part: 10

Ingredients:
- 12 4 oz (125 g) 16 3 oz (90 g)
- 2 oz (60 g) Butter
- 3 oz (90 g) Onions, great cube
- 1 pt (500 mL) Prolonged-grain rice (check out observe) (watch be aware)
- 11�"2�?"2 pt (750 mL�?"1 L) Chicken stock
- (see be aware) ((watch be aware)) or water, boiling
- to taste Salt

Directions:
1. First, heat the butter in a heavy saucepan. Increase the onion and sauté right until it commences to melt. Do not brown.
2. Next, insert the rice, with out washing. Stir around heat until the rice is completely included with butter.
3. Then, pour in the boiling liquid. Return the liquid to a boil with the rice. Flavor and modify seasonings; cover tightly.
4. Then, space inside a 350°F (175°C) oven and bake for 18�?"20 minutes, until finally liquid is absorbed and rice is dry and fluffy. Style the rice and, if it is not performed, change within oven 3�?"5 minutes.
5. Then, switch out into a lodge pan and fluff the rice with a fork. This releases steam and stops more cooking. Retain sizzling for support.
6. Finally, if favored, extra uncooked butter could be stirred into carried out rice.
