Beer Batter
Ingredients:
water, bottled, generic
alcoholic beverage, beer, regular, all
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
Directions:
Combine water and larger.
add salt and mix briefly.
Add flour gradually until batter coats your finger without dripping off, but is still thin enough to see your finger through.
