Oatmeal Snacks
Ingredients:
egg substitute, powder
applesauce, canned, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid (includes usda commodity)
honey
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
apples, raw, with skin
oats
nuts, pecans
Directions:
Beat the egg substitute.
Add the other liquid ingredients and blend thoroughly.
Stiry the dry ingredients together, making sure that there are no lumps.
Add to the liquid mixture and mix well; stir in the oatmeal and nuts.
Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
