Mexican Rice
Ingredients:
oil, canola
rice, white, long-grain, regular, unenriched, cooked without salt
water, bottled, generic
tomato sauce, canned, no salt added
soup, chicken broth or bouillon, dry
spices, garlic powder
Directions:
In a skillet add the canola oil, and heat it up over medium heat.
Add the rice and fry it until it is light golden brown.
Add the water and stir in the tomato sauce (use more tomato sauce if you like, but not too much), bouillon and the garlic salt.
Bring to a boil, cover and let it cook for 20 -25 minutes or until all water has cooked off.
Fluff with fork and serve.
