No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls
Ingredients:
peanut butter, smooth style, without salt
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
oats
cereals, oats, regular and quick, unenriched, cooked with water (includes boiling and microwaving), without salt
Directions:
Place peanut butter and chocolate chips in small microwave-able bowl.
Microwave on medium 30-60 seconds until peanut butter is melted and chocolate chips are growing soft.
Stir until well-blended.
Add in oats and cereal.
If mixture is too wet, you may need to add more cereal.
Stir until well-blended and form into meatball-size balls with damp hands.
Refrigerate until firm.
I make these the night before and store in the fridge, then pack in my lunch the next morning.
These are a great high-protein alternative to granola bars!
