Cherokee Fry Bread
Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
salt, table
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Mix ingredients in mixing bowl, adding more flour if necessary to make stiff dough.
Roll dough out on floured board until very thin.
Cut into 2x3 inch sections and drop into hot deep fat fryer.
Brown on one side, turn, and brown on other side.
Remove from fryer and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
Serve hot with Honey.
