Pigs in a Blanket
Ingredients:
pork sausage, link/patty, unprepared
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
lard
butter, without salt
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
salt, table
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d
Directions:
Cut sausage into 3 inch lengths and split into quarters.
Cut lard into dry ingredients.
Add milk until a small ball is formed.
Roll out to 1/4 in thick.
Cut into 3 inch squares
Roll up a piece of sausage in the pastry.
Place on cookie sheet and bake 425 for 15 to 20 min.
