Cranberry Sauce
Ingredients:
cranberries, dried, sweetened
sugars, brown
water, bottled, generic
orange juice, raw
Directions:
Put everything in a Dutch oven or thick-bottomed sauce pan.
Note: either use the cup of cold water and 3 Tablespoons of frozen orange juice concentrate OR you can use 2 cups fresh orange juice.
Stir everything around so the sugar mixes into the juice.
Set a timer for 45 minutes and turn the heat on high and bring up to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
Stir occasionally, and dont worry if it boils occasionally.
Just keep stirring.
Dont use a lid because you want the liquid to evaporate.
You can add more sugar to taste.
I like mine tart.
After the 45 minutes, pour into a nice serving bowl and toss it in the fridge, freezer or out in the snowwherever you have spaceuntil just before you serve it.
