Baking Powder Biscuits

Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
butter, without salt
salt, table
milk, fluid, 1% fat, without added vitamin a and vitamin d

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Sift dry ingredients into mixer w/dough hook.
Cut butter into small cubes and add to mixture.
Mix with dough hook to incorporate butter.
(If no mixer just cut-in with a fork) Add the milk, gradually, still mixing.
Dough should be soft but not sticky, add more flour if needed.
Place dough on a floured surface pat or roll out to about a one inch thickness.
Cut with a biscuit cutter, cookie cutter or cup/glass rim and place on a baking sheet.
Brush the tops with a little milk and bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until just turning brown on top.
