Jen's Cinnamon Raisin Bran Muffins

Ingredients:
cereals, oats, regular and quick, unenriched, cooked with water (includes boiling and microwaving), without salt
milk, buttermilk, fluid, cultured, lowfat
molasses
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, granulated
salt, table
leavening agents, baking soda
spices, cinnamon, ground
raisins, seeded

Directions:
-Combine cereal with the buttermilk, molasses and rasins and let stand for 10 minutes.
-Sift or mix together well with a fork the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
-Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and the the bran-milk-raisin mixture.
-Stir ingredients only enough to moisten them.
-Spoon into muffins tins lined with paper liners.
-Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 20-22 minutes.
Muffins should spring back when touched lightly in the center.
-Muffins may be frozen and eaten later.
