Sunflower-Almond Spread
Ingredients:
1.5 cups almonds, 1.5 cups sunflower seeds, 1 carrot, 1 garlic clove, 1/2 chopped red pepper, 1/4 cup minced parsley, 1/2 chopped red onion. Dressing: 4 large tomatoes, 3 tbsp Bragg's, 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
Directions:
Soak almonds and seeds in distilled water for 6-12 hours. Drain and process with carrot and garlic. Stir in the red pepper, parsley, and onion. Blend the dressing ingredients, mix 1 cup of dressing into the spread, and refrigerate for one hour. Serve on lettuce with the remaining dressing on the side.
