Vodka Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
oil, olive, salad or cooking
spices, garlic powder
tomato products, canned, puree, without salt added
cream, fluid, heavy whipping
spices, pepper, red or cayenne
alcoholic beverage, distilled, vodka, 80 proof
spices, basil, dried
Directions:
Saute garlic in olive oil, add tomatoe puree and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Add heavy cream and crushed red pepper to tomato sauce and simmer for 5 more minutes.
Add vodka and basil to sauce and simmer for 2 more minutes.
