Low Carb/Primal Chicken - Vegetable Soup
Ingredients:
soup, chicken broth or bouillon, dry
parsley, fresh
spices, garlic powder
spices, oregano, dried
cabbage, raw
celery, raw
mushrooms, white, raw
broccoli, raw
onions, raw
squash, summer, zucchini, includes skin, raw
chicken, broiler or fryers, breast, skinless, boneless, meat only, raw
salt, table
spices, pepper, black
Directions:
Cook chicken (steam for 20 minutes or boil for 5 minutes) and cut into chunks.
Heat the chicken stock and add all spices until mixture comes to a boil.
Add all vegetables except cabbage.
Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for approximately 30 minutes.
Add the shredded cabbage and chunks of chicken.
Cover and simmer again for an additional 15 minutes or till serving time.
Add salt and pepper to taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
Serve piping hot!
