Japanese Asparagus Dengaku
Ingredients:
miso
asparagus, raw
lemon juice, raw
seeds, sesame butter, tahini, from roasted and toasted kernels (most common type)
syrup, maple, canadian
Directions:
Preheat broiler to high, and arrange asparagus on rimmed baking sheet.
Whisk together miso, lemon juice, tahini, and maple syrup in small bowl.
Spoon or brush miso mixture over asparagus.
Broil asparagus 5 to 6 minutes, or until tender and speckled brown.
