Balsamic Cipolline Onions Recipe

Ingredients:
onions, raw
soup, beef broth or bouillon canned, ready-to-serve
vinegar, balsamic
butter, without salt
sugars, granulated
parsley, fresh

Directions:
Cook onions in large pot of boiling water 3 min.
Drain and cold.
Cut off root ends, then peel.
Combine peeled onions, beef stock, 2 Tbsp.
balsamic vinegar, butter and sugar in heavy large skillet.
Bring to simmer over medium heat.
Cover; simmer till onions are crisp-tender, about 15 min.
Add in 1/2 Tbsp.
vinegar.
Simmer uncovered till syrupy, stirring occasionally, about 25 min.
Season with salt and pepper.
Fold in 1 Tbsp.
parsley.
Transfer to bowl.
Sprinkle with 1 Tbsp.
parsley.
