How to Cook Quinoa

Ingredients:
quinoa, uncooked
water, bottled, generic
salt, table

Directions:
Combine uncooked quinoa, water, and salt in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, cover, decrease the heat, and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes, until the quinoa is tender and you can see the little quinoa "curlicues."
Cooked quinoa stays fresh for up to 6-7 days in the refrigerator or 8 months in the freezer.
1 cup dry yields about 3 cups cooked.
