Apple Crisp
Ingredients:
apples, raw, with skin
sugars, granulated
spices, cinnamon, ground
spices, nutmeg, ground
apples, raw, with skin
oats
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
sugars, brown
spices, cinnamon, ground
salt, table
butter, without salt
Directions:
Toss the apples with the tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and cider.
Place in 1 1/2 quart lightly buttered serving bowl.
Combine the dry ingredients for the topping ad with your fingers mix in butter gently, until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Spread over apples, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Serve with softly whipped cream
