Holiday Almond Brittle
Ingredients:
sugars, granulated
honey
butter, without salt
butter, without salt
nuts, almonds
Directions:
In a heavy skillet, heat the sugar over low heat until it has melted and is slightly browned, making sure it doesn't burn.
Add the honey and butter; simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir in the nuts and cook for 10 minutes.
Line a platter or pan with wax paper and drop tablespoonfuls of the brittle onto the paper.
Let it harden, break into pieces and serve.
