Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies (Egg-Free)

Ingredients:
wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched
leavening agents, baking soda
salt, table
margarine, regular, 80% fat, composite, stick, without salt
sugars, brown
sugars, granulated
leavening agents, baking powder, double-acting, sodium aluminum sulfate
oil, olive, salad or cooking
water, bottled, generic
vanilla extract
spartan, real semi-sweet chocolate baking chips,
nuts, pecans
cherries, sweet, raw

Directions:
Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt.
Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together margarine and sugars.
Add baking powder, oil, water, and vanilla extract.
Beat well.
Add flour mixture and beat until well combined.
Stir in chocolate chips, pecans, and cherries.
Form dough into balls and place them on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Flatten slightly using your fingers.
Bake for 79 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
Allow cookies to cool on sheet for a couple of minutes and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
